A Classic Original: The Hemingway Daiquiri

To celebrate National Daiquiri Day in the Mississippi heat, we are throwing it back to the original; The Hemingway Daiquiri. It gets it’s name because Hemingway drank it regularly at the El Floridita Bar in Havana, Cuba.

It is beautiful in it’s simplicity and, depending on how you look at it, with all the fresh citrus, it could actually be good for you!

  • 2 oz White Rum
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Maraschino Liqueur

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass and Enjoy!
